Because we have been plumbing in the neighborhood for so many years it may surprise you that a large part of what we do on a daily basis is kitchen and bath remodeling.  We are grateful for the generations of families that we have served over the years and work hard to ensure that our client’s are pleased with every detail. Some of the older homes in our area have vintage living room and dining rooms but have you ever seen one with an authentic kitchen?  We have, but they are rare indeed.

The original kitchen around the corner from the shop has wooden counter tops.  We have seen old subway tiles and California coolers too!  The old bathrooms may have subway tiles, old pedestal sinks and basket weave tiles on the floor.  These authentic vintage kitchens and bathrooms still need to function well and our aim is to provide functionality  no matter what era of design you choose. 

Most of us that live in older houses in central San Diego area have had our kitchens and bathroos redesigned or updated every decade or two.   Because Powers Plumbing also works in service and repair, we are very aware of the building codes and aim to do the job right the first time.  Additionally, because we have worked on houses from the 1880s and also the most modern buildings. We have an agility and retained the craftsmanship needed to work with your plumbing systems so it fits in with your overall design plans and lifestyle.
