Office Hours are 8:00 - 4:30  Monday - Friday

Rates:
Monday - Friday  (1/2 hour minimum and billed by the 1/4 after the first half hour).  So for a job that takes 45 minutes, you are charged for 45 minutes.  For an 1 hour 15 minutes charged for 1 hour 15 minutes.

Please note we don't charge a fixed rate to show up to the job but we do charge for our travel time.

Travel Time
While we don't charge an automatic per job service charge or fuel surcharge, billing for your job starts when the plumber is dispatched.  The work begins when the plumber pulls materials for your job and continues until he returns back to our shop.  We have used this method for billing since 1914 and find it is fairer to you than any of the other pricing scenarios including per job pricing. The travel time is billed as part of the time on the job and is portal to portal. 

The time back to the shop is estimated.   This will be shown to you on the work order that we want you to review and sign to approve the work before the plumber leaves the site.

24 Hour Emergency Service - Rates

Monday -Friday
Evenings  4:30 PM - 8:00 PM & Saturday  8:00 AM to 4:30 PM  Billed at time and a half - one hour minimum.

Evenings 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM Sunday, Holidays and Weekend Evenings
4:30 PM - 8:00 AM Billed at double time. - one hour minimum.

Guarantee
We strive to be the best plumber in San Diego but despite our best efforts sometimes things don't always work out as planned.  If we did not perform service adequately the first time we will return at no cost to you to correct our mistake. 

Drain clogs are not guaranteed for longer than 30 days. The guarantee is for our workmanship.  If the cause of the clog is determined to be something other than what we cleared the first time, something that is put into the drain, or a chronic problem we will not guarantee that service call.  Please be advised that if we notice a problem with your drain line we will bring it to your attention so that you can take an appropriate course of action to correct the cause.

Some folks rather have regular maintenance - for example because a tree root interferes with the line and they love the tree. 

Sewer line camera: If you would like us to put a camera into the sewer line to inspect it and see if we can repair it for you  we charge $275.00 for this service and it includes up to two hours of time and we will provide you with still shots from our video of your drain line.

Service and repair work is billed at $89.00 per hour with a half hour minimum for door-to-door service (during regular office hours).

Written estimates are free to our customers.  Escrow inspections are billed at our hourly rate and we credit the estimate fee upon completion of the work.
